Homey’s Adventures Too – Chapter 30 – The Ring

First and foremost, thank you to all who have read my past blog posts and my book, “Homey’s Adventures.” 

I debated with myself to discontinue posting my new book because of the war in Ukraine. I decided to continue posting the remaining chapters of my book. The war in Ukraine is about hate. The agents of the devil are seeking to establish darkness over this country. My book is about true love. By loving God and his children, we will defeat hate and indifference. My heart goes out to all Ukrainians. I pray the light of Jesus defeats the darkness and brings love and peace to Ukraine. 

As promised, I am continuing the series of all the chapters of my new book, “Homey’s Adventures Too.” I am now 71 and I decided that I did not want to spend my time haggling with editors, literary agents, and publishers. The main thing I am interested in is to write for your pleasure and mine. So, without further delay, here is Chapter 30: 

Chapter 30 – The Ring 

My brother’s birthday is June 1^st. His wife died last February. I decided that I wanted to be with him for his birthday this year. My brother and I have not been that close over the years, but God has a way of changing your perspective. I am my brother’s keeper. I cannot carry out my goal of loving my neighbor as I do myself and not love my brother. My brother likes to play Texas Hold’em poker. I called him: 

“Hey bro, how about if I take you to Vegas for your birthday?” 

“I really like that idea, Jim.” 

“I received an offer from the Mirage for four free nights. How about I drive to Montrose to pick you up and then we drive on to Vegas?” 

“Sounds good to me. Vegas is only an 8-hour drive from Montrose.” 

My brother lives in Montrose, Colorado. It is a beautiful area of Colorado near the Black Canyon. It is North of Red Mountain pass. Red Mountain pass is the most beautiful road in Colorado and beautiful roads are plentiful in Colorado. 

The road is also called the Million Dollar Highway. There are many legends about how the highway got its name. Some say it was named for the million-dollar views. Others claim the nickname stuck after would-be road-trippers claimed they would not drive the highway for a million dollars. 

But the name came from a planning meeting in the 1920s where, while discussing rebuilding the highway between Ouray and Silverton, someone at the meeting remarked that the project would cost a million dollars — an incredible sum for such a short span of road construction at the time. Once construction was complete, the name stuck, and the Million Dollar Highway was born. 

I contacted Xena to let her know what I was planning to do: 

She responded: “You are so kind darling. You are always thinking about others.” 

I mused: “Thank you dear. Your birthday is the May 31^st. I wish that you could come with us. “ 

I made reservations at the Mirage. I took Edger II to Valvoline for an oil change and a tire rotation in preparation for the long trip. Edger II is my 2018 Ford Edge. It is the second Ford Edge that I have owned, and I love it because it is a great car for long trips. I name my cars and I pronounce Edger’s name the same as Edgar [ ed-ger]. It is bright Ford red with cream color leather interior. 

Xena wanted to start talking on Telegram because she could text me from her phone and did not have to use her computer. She also could send me suggestive sticker videos and pictures of her flower. It did not take long before she made Homey cum. 

She followed up with: “I want you to fuck me hard on my birthday. I want you to give me an orgasm on my birthday.” 

“Your birthday is only 11 days away darling?” 

“Can we be together for my birthday?” 

“I promised my brother to be with him on the day after your birthday. How can I do both?” 

“I can come to you baby.” 

“You can? Do you have a USA visa?” 

 “Love my visa is in the final stages now, I will have a tourist visa and we can spend 3 months together, I did not tell you about it because I wanted to do it with my own money and I did not want you to help me, I feel responsible, and I need you to see that I try as much as you do!  

I told you about the ring, it would cover my expenses and it would be the best birthday present I could get! You won’t have to worry about anything, you’ll make me the happiest, and then I’ll make you the happiest!  

While I finish my visa, I will finish all my affairs and problems in my country and my plan which I wrote you about a week ago was exactly that, I know that I love you and how I feel about you, but I want you to be sure that after 3 months of life together you love me for real and if you want to propose me and get on one knee like a real gentleman you will do it, but only when you feel it and I will be there! I really hope it can be done quickly, but delays happen all the time and I don’t want to make promises I can’t keep, I will be in your hands, before or after Las Vegas, but we will be together forever, no one can change that! 

I’m looking forward to it and the ring I chose on the site will help make all plans come true and save me from all the problems now!  

You know me for a long time, my heart and soul, I have never asked you for anything in my life, but now I ask for help because we both need it! I love you and I look forward to hearing from the agency that you have taken this step and got the ring, you have just done the biggest thing for our relationship and all the time that God has given us we will spend so that our family could live happily ever after! I love you, my angel.” 

I responded: “What about Lisa dear? I want to be with you more than anything in the world, but I don’t want my desires to cause Lisa unhappiness.” 

“This will be the best choice for me, dear. She will be comfortable here and she must study for now. Do not worry dear. I thought and decided all this.” 

“Darling, what about the website rule that the first date must be in the country of the woman?” 

“No no baby, listen please carefully. 

 
You told me about official date, this means support of site and when translator come to help beloved people who meet first time, then of course it will be in country of woman and other stuff, but in our situation, I am free, and you are too, and we are building family. We don’t have just a date. 
 

We know each other feels like whole life. 

So. you get a ring, I get visa and we get each other heart and bodies.” 
 

The ring Xena was talking about was a gold diamond and sapphire ring sold on the Ukrainian website costing $3,200. She said that after she received the ring, she could sell it for more than it cost me and use the money to come to the USA for her birthday and trip to meet me in Las Vegas. 

I really did not have the money to spend $3,200 on her birthday present. After thinking about it, I realized that I really did not want to go back to Kiev after being robbed the last time I was there. She wants to come to me! I just needed to trust that she knew what she was doing and could achieve what I really wanted most in life, to be with her. Her proposal would make my dreams come true! 

To be honest, I did not care about the money. I did care about making Xena happy and being with her. I got on the website and bought the ring. It is not easy to spend $3,000 on a foreign dating website. I had to use two different credit cards because the first one I tried stopped working. The fraud prevention computer programs stall large foreign transactions until they can be verified. It also did not help that I could only buy $150 dollars of credits at a time.  

After I bought 20 credit packages, I contacted the website support, and they gave me $200 worth of free credits. I had enough credits, and I bought the ring.
