First and foremost, thank you to all who have read my blog posts and my book, “Homey’s Adventures.”
I just finished writing my second novel, “Homey’s Adeventures Too.” I am currently in the process of getting a detailed edit completed so that I can find a literary agent and publisher.
I self-published my first book through IUniverse. I have established my brand and credibility with my first book and this blog. I am now ready to pursue the traditional publishing route. I invite any of you who know a literary agent who likes to work with romantic comedy to let them know that I am looking for them.
“Homey’s Adventures Too” is a sequel to Homey’s Adventures. It has less erotica than my first book and more romantic love. Homey takes Jim to the Ukraine two more times. Jim takes Homey on a Haitian missionary trip. Jim and Homey struggle against being robbed, suffering the death of a mother and a sister-in-law. They are hospitalized with bleeding acute diverticulitis and get Covid 19. They end up in Las Vegas with a widowed brother on his birthday and the woman of Jim and Homey’s dreams. As with “Homey’s Adventures,” my love of God and his children underlie everything Jim and Homey do. Of course, Homey continues to be like Forest Gump’s box of chocolates. You never know what is going to come out of him.
I have shared parts of this new book with you in this blog. I also have plans for a third book after my new sequel is published. I plan to include more travel in third book to give you my reader what you like the most. I get more activity with my travel blogs than I do with my other posts.
I plan to try to meet and write about the descendants of the men my father saved during World War II. I plan to name the book “Honor Thy Father.” This book is sequel to the happy ending of my first book. In my first book, Jim and Homey end up with a woman who they nicknamed using the nickname of my father. This was an intentional lead into my third Homey Adventures sequel.
So, if you can, help me find a good literary agent so that I can devote more of my time to writing for you. You are one of the primary reasons that I write from just beyond the gateway of the west.
